Extremely unattractive singer apologises.
Justin Hawkins, lead screamer with the shite eighties rock cover band The Darkness, issued an apology for accidentally confusing the feeble minded with the lyrics to their most recent single ‘One Way Ticket’.The - quite frankly - ugly front man admitted he was lying through his wonky teeth when he sang “I’ve got a one way ticket to hell … and back” as it would involve fare dodging on the return part of the journey. This was something that he, and the rest of the big hair wannabes in the band, did not wish to appear to condone. He said, “Obviously if I’m going to go to hell - and back - then I’m going to buy a return aren’t I”.
Dressed in a body suit made from the rotting skin of now extinct reptiles, the balding singer went on to state that he was happy with the manner in which his shoddy rock band had hoodwinked the record buying public into buying recycled old tat, and was looking forward to their next arena tour.
