(proof that NME is) Bad for your Gelf

NME hack Editor Conor McNicholas has recently announced a benefit concert to raise awareness of the continued plight of Gelflings in todays modern society. McNicholas, dressed in faded denim and a strategically placed ipod, denied that he himself was born a Gelf, (although he has been persistently dogged by rumors to the contrary) and said the continued prejudice against the Gelfs had stopped them fully integrating into the 'London Music Scene'.

He went on to spout a bit about Gelfs having a lot to offer music and culture, continueing: "why you only have to look at their floaty hippy outfits and rock and roll hair to see the creative potential there!"

The self confessed muppet also stated that he'd already had offers of support from scenesters Noel Fielding, Joanna Newsome, and the Cookie Monster (?) (me either).

Ineffectually covering his unnaturally large ears with his tiny girly hands, McNicholas also denied that he was using the concert to distract people from the continued Smash Hitisation of the NME, before running off, screaming, into the MOR distance.
